Let’s Talk Brooklyn - A Conversation with the U.S. Surgeon General and Jon Batiste

On November 26th, the Social Justice Fund’s co-founder, Clara Wu Tsai, hosted the inaugural Let’s Talk Brooklyn event at Barclays Center, featuring GRAMMY Awardee Jon Batiste, and U.S Surgeon General, Dr. Vivek Murthy, discussing social media, mental health, and loneliness on college campuses.

The event facilitated a deep and meaningful dialogue among participants, shedding light on how social media can influence mental health, especially among college students. Discussions explored the balance between virtual and real-life interactions and the importance of creating supportive communities to combat loneliness and promote mental wellness.
